EDOS Digital needed to define its brand and vision. They wanted to identify themselves as a software development company that creates technology in the esports and entertainment industries. As a startup, they need to build an entire brand and personality from the ground up.

I joined EDOS as their Design Lead, heading up the UI/UX design team for their esports platform product and serving as the Creative Director for the overall brand.

In my early months with EDOS, I developed a brand mark inspired by gaming and pop-culture imagery and worked closely with stakeholders to develop a fresh look and feel for our products and identity.

Concept

We wanted the E and D to be a part of the logo, a callback to an earlier logo mark. We explored the idea of “forward momentum” and having a “sky’s the limit” attitude toward product development. Looking to the stars, we decided to utilize shapes reminiscent of a shooting star and space ship.

Website Design

We developed a website to further our marketing reach and present our B2B services and digital products.

Decisions around our brand led us to create something that felt adventurous, open-ended, and “edgy but approachable.” We decided to use starry skies (as the sky was the limit) with neon and cyberpunk elements.
